The deposit clears before the truck is scheduled.
Homeowners pay the deposit by card or bank from your branded portal, through QuickBooks Payments or Stripe. Card numbers never touch WindowEdge. The console reconciles on its own and the project moves the moment the money lands.

Your processor, your money
QuickBooks Payments or Stripe. You choose.
Connect the one you already use in Settings. Every homeowner payment routes through it, deposits land in your account, and WindowEdge never touches a card number.
Card and bank (eCheck) deposits that reconcile straight into QuickBooks. Card numbers are tokenized in the browser against Intuit.
- Card and eCheck
- Books stay in sync
- Attempt ledger and eCheck reconciliation
Stripe Connect with the dealer as the account of record. Cards are tokenized by Stripe, payouts on the schedule you set.
- Card payments
- Stripe Connect onboarding from Settings
- Real error messages when setup needs attention
From signature to cleared deposit
The same portal where the homeowner signed is where she pays. Nothing to mail, nothing to read over the phone.
Quote converts, schedule set
When the homeowner signs, you pick the payment schedule: deposit and balance, split payments, or a financed monthly amount shown right on the quote.
Homeowner pays in the portal
Card or bank (eCheck), from the same branded portal where she signed. No link to a third-party page with someone else’s logo on it.
Console reconciles itself
The payment posts against the project automatically. Nobody re-keys an amount or hunts for a receipt in a shared inbox.
Deposit gate clears
The project moves forward the moment the deposit lands. Ordering and scheduling unlock on their own, and the truck goes out on paid work.
Payments the way a dealer needs them to work
QuickBooks Payments or Stripe
You choose the processor. Connect the one you already use, or the one with the rates you like, and WindowEdge routes every payment through it.
Card numbers never touch us
Card details are tokenized in the browser by the processor you connected: Intuit for QuickBooks Payments, Stripe for Stripe. The number goes from the homeowner’s screen to the processor and never passes through WindowEdge.
Card or bank, her choice
Some homeowners want points. Some want to skip the card fee. Offer both, with eCheck reconciliation handled when the bank settles.
An honest ledger
Every attempt is recorded, successful or not. Declines, retries, and eCheck returns all show up in the attempt ledger, so the story is never a mystery.
Change orders, same way
Add a window mid-project and the change order can be paid through the portal exactly like the deposit was. No separate invoice, no phone call for a card number.
Connect, disconnect, status
One settings screen shows whether the processor is connected, lets you switch it, and tells you the moment something needs attention.
The homeowner sees the same ledger you do
Payment history lives in the portal next to the signed quote and the schedule. When she asks "did that go through?", the answer is already on her phone.
- Every payment, with method, date, and the amount still due
- Split payments and financed monthly amounts shown plainly
- eCheck status from submitted to settled
- Change orders listed alongside the original schedule

Built so you never hold a card number
Taking payments online should reduce your exposure, not add to it. The processor holds the sensitive part. You hold the receipt.
Tokenized in the browser
Card details are tokenized on the homeowner’s device by your processor, Intuit for QuickBooks Payments or Stripe for Stripe. WindowEdge only ever sees the token.
Your processor, your account
Funds settle to the QuickBooks Payments or Stripe account you connected. WindowEdge is never in the money path.
Status you can see
Connect, disconnect, and current status live in settings. If the connection needs attention, you know before a homeowner does.

Questions dealers ask
Which payment processors does WindowEdge support?
QuickBooks Payments or Stripe. The dealer chooses, connects it in settings, and every homeowner payment routes through that processor.
Does WindowEdge store card numbers?
No. Card numbers are tokenized in the browser by the processor you connected, Intuit for QuickBooks Payments or Stripe for Stripe, and never touch WindowEdge. The homeowner’s card details go from her screen to the processor.
Can homeowners pay by bank instead of card?
Yes. The portal offers card or bank (eCheck). eCheck payments are reconciled when the bank settles, and the attempt ledger shows the status the whole way.
When is the payment schedule decided?
When the quote converts. You pick deposit and balance, split payments, or a financed plan, and the financed monthly amount is shown to the homeowner.
What happens in the console after a homeowner pays?
The console reconciles automatically and the deposit gate on the project clears, so ordering and scheduling can move forward without anyone re-keying a payment.
Can a change order be paid online too?
Yes. Change orders can be paid the same way as the deposit, from the branded homeowner portal, by card or bank.
